Hey guys! Today we are going to talk about the Command Prompt. A lot of you probably don’t know that you can customize your Command Prompt in Windows 10. So, we will show you how to do it. Let’s start.
Click on the Start button and choose Command Prompt (with Admin privileges). Once you are in Command Prompt, you can go to full screen. Now, right click on the top of the window and go to Properties.
You have got all sorts of options, so you can easily change cursor size, the buffer size for a command line or text selection. Also, you can change edit options (QuickEdit Mode, Insert Mode, Enable Ctrl key shortcuts, Filter clipboard contents on paste).

If you want to change font, go to the Font section. Here you can change the size of your characters or even the font type. It’s really cool to help you use the Command Prompt.
You have a layout section which gives you the height and width of the buffer size or the window size. Also, you have window position, so if you want you can customize it.
And of course you can go to Colours. Here you can change screen background color, screen text color. Also, you can change opacity, so you can actually make the command prompt transparent if you want. We got this, we see part of our desktop through it.
These are all the options you have, so you can easily customize your command prompt. Just click on the top of the window and go to Properties. Now you can close the windows.
The next time you start a command prompt, it will remember the options. That’s pretty much it. If you have any questions, you are free to leave them in the comments section below.
