Hello guys! Here is another article about Windows 10. Today we are going to show you how to add the safe mode boot option.
Windows 10 don’t give you that option. If you navigate to Troubleshoot and then you go to Advanced options, you don’t see safe mode at all. So we are going to go back and just exit, because we are going to show you guys how to get those features and use them within Windows 10.
Alright guys, once you are inside your Windows 10 machine, right click on the Start menu and choose Command Prompt (Admin).
What you need to do right now is just type in the commands below:
bcdedit /copy {current} /d “Windows 10 Safe Mode”
bcdedit /copy {current} /d “Windows 10 Safe Mode with Networking”
bcdedit /copy {current} /d “Windows 10 Safe Mode with Command Prompt”
Once it is done, right click on the Start menu and then click on Run. Here type in msconfig and click OK. Go inside the boot option and you will see that we have the boot modes we have added before.
But nothing going really happen, this is just gibberish, so we need to pick Windows 10 Safe Mode and inside the Boot options we need to do Safe boot and it’s going to be Minimal.
For Safe Mode with Networking we need to do Safe boot, but in this case choose Networking.

Now, for Safe Mode with Command Prompt we need to do Safe boot with Alternate shell.
Make sure everything is set and click on Apply.
Now, let’s reboot your system and you will see that we have created boot entries within our boot environment.
So, as soon your operating system is boot, this is what you are going to see.
